New Block of the Month Quilt Pattern Christmas in Italy

Look what's new at Stitching Cow.

Months in the planning, this original new quilt is now ready for everyone to enjoy. Just in time for Christmas, this quilt will delight you as you create your own little village nestled amongst the hills. There are lots of houses to applique and snow laden trees to embroidery. If you enjoy sewing by hand then you will love sewing this quilt.

Take a few minutes to enjoy a video presentation I have put together for you. Please be patient as it loads, it will be well worth the short wait.

The good news is that there are lots of purchasing options. You can have the complete set of ten patterns delivered to your door, you can purchase the complete set of e-patterns and download them to your computer, or you can join the monthly e-pattern program and have a pattern sent to your email box each month.

If you are new to this exciting technology, don't worry the process is really simple and of course I am here to help if you have any problems along the way. Click here to learn more about e-patterns

The other exciting new is that I have a limited number of starter fabric kits for this quilt. They contains the exact fabrics I used in this quilt which is based on the Rouenneries French General range. Although you must be quick to secure one of these kits because sadly I am unable to reorder any of the fabrics.

Imagine the hours of sewing fun you will have creating your own little village, not to mention Santa and his team of Reindeer.
Warmly Lenna

New Christmas Quilt Fabric Kits

Spent all day today cutting, folding and packaging fabrics for my new Christmas Quilt. Hoping to have everything ready to launch by next week.

Here is a glimpse of the yummy fabrics that I have used. They are from the French General range. I will have a limited number of starter kits for sale which are made up of the exact fabrics I used.
You can see some of the quilt blocks and read all about the inspiration for this quilt over at my Little Green Cottage blog.

But for now here are some photos of my day.

Name my little bear

I've just finished making this cute little bear  for an upcoming school fete. Isn't he adorable?
I bought the kit which included the pattern and all the materials from Spotlight. I hadn't crocheted for a while so I hoped that he would be easy to make, and to my relief he was.
There are more creatures in the series which are shown on the back of the kit. So the plan is to make a few and sell them at the craft stall. I have put my hand up to run the stall again this year, so I need to get busy making stuff. This little guy is just the start.
The kids and I have been trying to name him. Our favourite so far is Rupert or perhaps Edward. Trouble is, can I part with him once he has a name.
What do you think? What would be a good name for him and could you part with him?
