With Christmas just around the corner and the festive season approaching I thought it fitting to run a competition.
Recently I launched a brand new block of the month quilt project called Cottages in Common.
Here's a picture of it for you.
The quilt has been very popular particularly the online class. This involves receiving an e-pattern together with 3-4 videos each month demonstrating the techniques used in this quilt.
The videos include demonstrations of hand embroidery stitches, needle turn appliqué, template piecing, border cutting, colourwash painting and more. It really is the easier way to tackle a more challenging quilt. Members of this program are able to watch over my shoulder and discover all my secret tips and tricks to creating this beautiful quilt.
I'd like to share this program with as many people are possible which is where you come in.
I need you help to get the word out and the best part is that you could win a free 12 month membership to this program yourself, valued at almost $300.
All you need to do is include the graphic and link as shown below on your blog. Then email me your blog address to enter the competition. The winner will be announced 24th December 2008.

Hi everyone,I've had a few people contact me wanting to know how to add the graphic to their blogs. Here are a few suggestions I thought may help;
To add the graphic just right click on it and select "save image as'
You will need to save it some where in your computer.
To include the iamge in an article - write a blog and then select to add an image.
It will let you browse your files and select the image.
Once it is in your post you then need to add the link.
Copy this from my blog and then add the link to the image or simply write it underneath.
Whichever is easiest.
To get the image to appear on your side bar you need to select layout option.
There should be an option for adding images.
Upload the image via the image icon at the top.
Once you have the image uploaded select add link (also an icon that looks like
a chain link) at the top.
You will need to copy the link exactly for it to work.
Next save your changes and hopefully it will all work.
