I've done it again, I've left everything to the last minute and now I'm searching for quick and easy home made Christmas decorations and gifts.
Why do I always do it to myself? Despite vowing each year that next year will be different, it never is. Maybe that's why we all call it the "Silly Season". Anyway despite feeling a tad stressed I'm determined to enjoy Christmas. It's such a special time of year that we all need to be reminded about the important stuff. It's easy to become overwhelmed but I am going to do my very best to just enjoy it all. The fact that my youngest has 5 birthday parties this fortnight and the in-laws are coming for Christmas at our home this year, I'm going to embrace the festive spirit and not send myself into a spin.
As usual I will be sewing some last minute Christmas gifts for teachers, family and friends. And I always try and make at least one handmade Christmas decoration each year. So if this sounds like you as well I have good news.
I have just launched five new quick and easy home made Christmas decorations on the Stitching Cow website. I know I should have had them ready months ago but as usual Christmas has crept up on me.
Here's some photos for you. Just click on the image if you would like more details.
Thankfully all these projects can be whipped up in no time.
Each of them can be downloaded to your computer today so that you could be sewing them within a few minutes. I just love the convenience of e-patterns don't you?
I'll try my very best to next year to have some new Christmas designs to you earlier although I have the sneaking suspicion that Christmas will always arrive way before I am ready for it.
Until next time happy Christmas sewing.
I hope you like these home made Christmas decorations.
Warmly Lenna

Brilliant post..! I too prefer homemade Christmas decorations.
what lovely decorations.. I like to make homemade ones too.. but I never seem to get a chance to sit and sew for too long (kids, work, cat dog and the hubby all demanding attention)
take care and Merry christmas to you!
