Australian Homespun Magazine is going Digital

I have some very exciting news, especially for international readers who have admired Australian Homespun Magazine from afar. This month the lovely Catherine from Homespun magazine emailed to let me know that the team at Homespun magazine have decided to go digital. This means it is now possible to purchase an electronic subscription  to the magazine, making it accessible to everyone who has a computer.

Australian Homespun magazine and all subsequent issues are now available as a digital subscription through www.zinio.com (Homespun magazine can be found under the art tab). This is a fantastic opportunity to present Homespun, a publication at the forefront of the industry, to a new world of readers, locally and internationally. For those who wish to take out a digital subscription, all you need to do is simply download the Zinio application from iTunes to your iPad, or log on to the website above.

Here are some of my designs that have appeared in Homespun magazine over the past few years.

It's one of my favourite craft magazines, there is always something to tempt me each month. I know you will love it as much as I do. To start enjoying Homespun magazine simply click the link here.

This is incorrect – on the index page, it gives the subscriber a website to download the pattern sheets. All the pattern information is available to the subscriber. Hope that clears up any confusion.

I signed up and was so excited about getting Homespun. I have one problem the June 2013 issue started a new stitch along. I cannot find the pattern. I went to the website that allows you to print etc. The first month is not there. I need help I have email several people with no answer. They offer the first month block in the magazine, after that you can go to website to download each month. It is called The French Kitchen, Thanks for your help!!!!!

My guess is that Homespun has not uploaded this pattern yet. When they do it will be on this website.

Hope that helps

Thanks, It seems they never upload the first project. I know the future projects will be available the beginning of each month. I have even call to see if I can buy it from someone in the U.S. I wish they would either charge extra for the customer that went digital, so we could get the patterns. Do you have a email to the company, I wish I could walk in an bookstore and pick it up. Thanks for answering and helping it means alot that you at least write back. Thanks again :)

From my understanding you will received the first pattern via the magazine, that fact that you are a digital customer should not matter. Unfortunately I do not know when the first pattern will be released.
You should be able to contact Homespun via the link in my previous email. Hope that helps.

No it will never be available. For example I purchased the first magazine with the first stitch along that had A Long Time Ago In Bethlehem Stitch A Long. I just went to the website and they have everything available but the first block/pattern. I wish that I had knew this, what good is it if you can't download pattern. They should allow us to put a code in or something to unlock or pay something extra. Do you know where I could purchased the June copy. Thanks Again, :)

Please understand I have nothing to do with Homespun magazine, I designed A Faithful Friend stitch along for them 2 years ago and I understand your frustration with the approach they have taken. The only way to obtain block one patterns is to contact the designer involved direct.

What a shame I bought the digital issue and there are no patterns I might as well have put my money down the nearest grid. I love your patterns though Eileen

Hi, does anyone know if I subscribe digitally via barnes and noble (for my nook), if I can download the patterns? I went to the site as directed here, but I still need a log in ID and password, which is not provided via my nook subscription.

THANKS!
