As July approaches we Australians begin to get excited about celebrating Christmas all over again. A delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings is far more enjoyable in the cooler months than in our traditionally very hot summer. So in keeping with this trend Stitching Cow will be released a collection of new Christmas patterns.

But for now I have one new pattern that was designed to compliment my
Christmas in Italy block of the month quilt. Named Villas in Winter this fabric box is decorated with simple hand embroidery and needle turn applique. A collection of Villas is nestled amongst the snow laden hills and the top band has been decorated with small hexagons.
